As we strive for versatility in our collection, for the 18th release we present Mood Tree's EP 'Don't Look to the Sky'.
With an interesting blend of progressive and melodic house sounds, he added a breath of fresh air to our discography, along with two remixes by Three Threes and Frikardo.
'Don't Look To The Sky' is a slow burner, a DJ-friendly structured arrangement built on Subass bigger than life that spans a wide frequency spectrum, subtle layering with roaring detuned mid bass, and progressive House pad textures that progressively peak up to the composition's finale.
Bluesy vocal chanting fades in as the 'Schoolyard Groove' begins, taking the rhythm to a new level with its progressive pulsating mash and buttery low end.
By contrast, the remixes add a deeper tone to the originals. Three Trees' Dub version stays true to the roots of classic deep house but with a dark twist. It's a midnight call for the vampire to exit the castle. And Frikardo's breakbeat electric twist adds versatility with deeper but brighter light to the original.
